Retrofit Republic Contest: Where in the World?
Happy 2011 all! Whether your 2010 was amazing or god-awful, it’s time for a blank slate of new possibilities. In anticipation for our Spring 2011 look book [coming soon], we’re ringing in the new year with what we love most – free stuff.
Calling all world travelers, geography buffs, or people who really like to look at pictures. The name of the game is geography, and the rules are simple:
1. “Like” us on Facebook.
2. View the prize of the day (which will be posted on our blog and on Facebook).
3. Guess what city the prize is from and comment your answer on the picture of the camera that will be posted on our Facebook wall – we’ll give you ONE photo hint per prize.
Easy, right? Every vintage piece has a story – and you’ll be surprised where we found these gems.
Here we go:
This week’s prize is a vintage Polaroid automatic 250 land camera. This rare find comes with the original case and kit dated back to August 1976! The package also includes a #581/581A diffuser, lens, detachable flash, 4 flash bulbs, and camera strap. People, this is a FIND! Take a look at this beauty here:
